A Closer Look at 2020 Property Tax Notice - as a bit of a tax nerd, I actually enjoy going over our taxes and comparing year to year. In the post, I share some of my findings from my household's tax assessment and clarify which line items come from the RDOS and which line items come from other entities like the province. I also share a few comparables from a similarly valued home in Penticton and explain the property tax increase our household faces.

(Spoiler alert: there is no relief or support like alternative tax payment plans for rural residents from the province.)

Finally, Virtual Canada Day is coming our way, and you could be part of the show! Here is how to get involved.

As always, I look forward to hearing your comments.
