August 24, 2021 update:
I've had a few calls suggestion that if the gravel trucks did not use the bridge, we wouldn't need to repair them as often. Here is the response from Ministry of Transportation.
Roads under provincial jurisdiction are not restricted as far as who can travel on those roads.
The ministry has numerous wooden structures in the province where industrial traffic such as logging, mining or gravel extraction operations, for example, are significant users.
I can confirm that in this case, no one highway user is being given "special consideration" regarding use of our highways. It is important to note that many trucking companies benefit from the use of this structure.

Please be advised that West Bench Bridge No. 1 (West Bench Hill Rd between Moorpark Dr & Russet Dr) will be closed to all traffic for weekend work September 11-12, 18-19, and 25-26 from 8am-3pm Saturdays and Sundays to re deck the bridge.
A detour is available via Sage Mesa Rd off of Hwy 97 and is high-lighted on page three. AIM Roads will be advising the public via social media platforms of this event.
