The most popular response across the region was for residents to supply their own reusable containers for recycling. However, Area "F" was the only community to vote slightly in favour of the RDOS supplying one 240 litre container (44% in favour of this option, 41% in favour of residents supplying their own container).
Because it is too costly to implement an RDOS purchased cart program for only one Area, RDOS staff will work with local retailers to have the option to purchase the carts or bins at the lowest price possible.
