Being FireSmart is our shared responsibility. Neighbours are encouraged to work together to limb, trim, rake, think and haul flammable debris to the chipper for disposal.

Clean up your yard and drop off wood and brush for the chipper (up to 30 cm/12”diameter, no roots or raked debris please). Stay for a coffee or hot chocolate, learn about how the West Bench can become a FireSmart community and pick up FireSmart information.

The chipper will also roam the neighbourhood to chip yard debris. Advance registration is appreciated. email Margaret Holm.

For more information email Margaret Holm. Check out FireSmart BC to learn more about the program.
