2023 12 13 From Land and Resources Coordinator - Wildfire Risk Reduction

Snpinktn Forestry with the Penticton Indian Band will be starting on the Fish Lake Road Wild Fire Risk Reduction Project in Faulder -  burning will occur periodically until the spring of March 2024, all activities will adhere to the Open Burning Smoke Control Regulation (OBSCR).

If you have any questions, please contact Brittany Seibert, RDOS Emergency Service Manager bseibert@rdos.bc.ca. However, this is a Ministry of Forest initiative and they were letting the RDOS know about the work as a courtesy.

Cheers, Riley
